ABOUT

5280 CHALLENGE

The 5280 Challenge is a track and field meet and archery competition for Paralympic athletes, masters athletes, disabled veterans and members of the armed services. Started in 2013, the 5280 Challenge provides competition for athletes in the Rocky Mountain region.

The first 5280 Challenge was held in 2013 with the goal of providing Masters and Paralympic track and field athletes the opportunity for high-level competition in their local community. At that time, the closest Paralympic track and field competition was the Endeavor Games in Edmond, Oklahoma--an outstanding competition if you want to travel almost 700 miles.

Building on the rich track and field tradition in Colorado, the 5280 Challenge provides Masters and Paralympic athletes the opportunity to qualify for national competition through USA Track & Field and Move United.

Thank you for your interest in the 5280 Challenge Track & Field meet and we hope to see you again in 2023.
